By downloading or using Tradie, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. These terms sit alongside Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement.
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Tradie mobile application (“the App”), run by Paul Vosloo (“we”, “us”). By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these terms.
Tradie helps self-employed tradespeople record jobs and customers, write quotes and invoices, schedule work and estimate tax to set aside. The App is a record-keeping and planning tool. It doesn’t file tax returns, take payments or send anything on your behalf without you choosing to.
Tax, National Insurance, self-employment tax and VAT figures shown in the App are estimates based on the information you enter and published rates for the current tax year. The App does not:
You are responsible for your own tax returns, VAT returns and payments.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for the prices, quotes and invoices you send, and for having the right to hold and contact your customers’ details. Suggested appointment times and drive times are estimates; check them before confirming with a customer.
Tradie is free to use with limits. Tradie Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription, available monthly or yearly, at the price shown in the App before you buy.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
The App is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Features that use an internet service, such as voice jobs and drive times, may sometimes be unavailable.
Your records are stored on your phone. Keep your phone backed up; we can’t recover data that is lost from your device.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the App or its content, including tax underpaid or overpaid, penalties, lost income or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
All content, design and code within the App are our property. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of the App without written permission. The quotes and invoices you create are yours.
We may modify or discontinue the App or these Terms at any time. If we make a significant change, we will tell you in the App. Continued use of the App after changes to the Terms means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
